Doris Hsieh is a professional dancer specializing in International Latin. Doris was born and raised in Kaoshiong, Taiwan, and started ballet training since the tender age of 5. She switched to International Latin at age 18, and quickly rose through the amateur ranks where she was a regular finalist at the Asian Open events. She represent Taiwan for many competitions and she also has very good experience in teaching. In 2012, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue latin dance in the Professional Leagues and to further her training with the world's top latin coaches. Her dancing matured quickly under the tutelage of Richard Porter and Maria Nikolishina. Within a few months of starting her partnership with Daniele Cavallo, they won 5th place in Rising Star Latin at the 2012 Dessert Classic Championships, and finalist in many competitions. Doris has now moved to New York to explore a new dance partnership, and wishes to share her love for dance with audiences and students alike.
