Instructor Biography


Valerie Levine has been dancing since the age of four, and has studied a wide range of dance styles.  Some of these styles include Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Hip-Hop, Belly Dance, American Smooth, American Rhythm, and Theater Arts.  She has been teaching and competing Pro-Am in Americal Smooth and American Rhythm. She has also performed at the Nassau Coliseum for the prelude of Dancing with the Stars when it went on tour February of 2007, and appeared in Newsday the next day with her pro-am partner.  She loves to teach- whether it be for beginners, wedding couples, competitive, or showdance.

Valerie also is a Professional Figure Skating Instructor certified by the United States Figure Skating Association, and is an Ice Girl for the NHL team the New York Islanders.  She has been competing in figure skating/ice dancing since the age of eleven, and has tested her pre-golds in ice dancing, and her senior level in Moves in the Field.  Valerie has been performing infront of large audiences for many years now, as she was a Ranger City Skater at Madison Square Garden for the NHL team the New York Rangers.
