GENERAL POLICIES
- There are no refunds.
- Group classes and instructors are subject to change
at the discretion of management.
- Group class prices are based on the number of hours
enrolled per cycle.
- An hour of instruction equals 55 minutes.
- If you are late to class by 20 minutes or more,
the instructor has the right to limit your participation.
- Only enter or move to a higher level class
with an instructor's permission.
- A $5 Registration Fee is added to group
class prices if registration occurs during
the new cycle and you have been a student
for at least one month.
- Make-ups for group classes must be taken
before the end of the cycle for which you
are registered.
- All "add/drops" must be completed by
the 2nd week of a cycle. If you have not
attended a class in the 1st or 2nd week,
you may not enter it for that cycle, whether
on an unlimited program or otherwise.
- A course may be cancelled or postponed
if less than six students are enrolled.
- Admission to the Friday Night Party
is free only with the proper ID-card,
or if the student has taken one private
lesson in that week.
- To avoid being charged in full,
24-hour notice is required for cancellation
of private lessons.
- All private lessons are 55 minutes
long. Neither the choice of a
teacher nor a private room is
guaranteed. Typically, the space
is shared with other private lesson
students who may be learning other
styles of dance and playing other
styles of music. Different music
may be rotated on an equal and
shared basis.
- The fee for a bounced check
is $30.
- Only one discount may be
applied at a time.
- A $20 credit is given for
the referral of a new student
if the referring student has
been enrolled for one month
prior.
PRIVATE LESSON POLICIES
- A Private Lesson guarantees optimal individual attention
from an instructor. However, you are NOT guaranteed
a private room. Studios are typically shared with
other Private Lessons taking place. The music is also
shared on an equal basis.
- The pricing of Private Lessons is based on one
or two students participating. If a lesson has more
than two students, it is a Semi-Private. Please
ask for Semi-Private Lesson Rates at the Front Desk.
- Each lesson is 55 minutes and is by appointment
only. It is recommended that you book your lesson
at least one week in advance in order to secure
your desired day and time. Every lesson must be
paid for in ADVANCE. When you arrive for your
lesson, please check-in at the front desk first
and initial your Private Lesson Card next to the
appropriate date.
- To ensure that the instructor of your choice
is available, you may schedule a Standing Lesson.
A Standing Lesson means you will have the same
day and time with your instructor every week.
This lends to continuity of learning, as well
as a simplified schedule. Standing Lessons can
only be made when a student is on a package
of four, ten or twenty lessons. If a Standing
Lesson is cancelled two or more times within
a month, you risk forfeiting your standing day
and time.
- There is a 24-hour cancellation policy for
all Private Lessons whether you have a Standing
Lesson or not. If it becomes necessary to
cancel your appointment, we must hear from
you at least 24 hours before that lesson in
order to avoid charging you for that lesson.
If you cancel on the day of your lesson; a
lesson will be deducted from your Private
Lesson Package. If you purchased a Single
Lesson and cancel the day of the booking;
that lesson will be charged and you will have
to pre-pay for a new lesson.
- Each Private Lesson Package has an expiration
date as follows:
Single Lessons: 4 weeks from
date of purchase.
Four Lessons: 6 weeks from date
of purchase.
Ten Lessons: 15 weeks from date
of purchase.
Twenty Lessons: 30 weeks from
date of purchase.
- There are no refunds.
