TALIA CASTRO-POZO Co-Director of Stepping Out Studios (SO). Talía has made SO her home since 2001. Because of Talía's diverse background as a performer and business woman, she brings a hip, savvy approach to the dance studio business. She has creatively guided studios throughout the New York area to success for over 10 years.

Talía also coaches students and professionals in all styles of dance. Her partner dance, coaching expertise includes social to competitive dance styles in Ballroom, Rhythm, Latin, Show Dance, Theatre Arts.

Formerly, "Peruvian Ballet representative to the world", Talía has trained with top teachers globally in all styles of dance since age 3, turning professional at age 14.

Her performing credits include numerous appearances in commercial print ads; she starred in the independent film, "Falling in Rhythm"; was a featured dancer in the movie "Summer of Sam"; choreographer for the independent film "Angela"; and has also appeared in numerous commercials, music videos and TV specials.

In her continuing effort to cultivate the arts in the community, Talía supports new projects such as student dance companies, special parties, readings, dance/theatre showcases and fundraising. She is a William Esper Studio graduate; and is a Board member for non-profit organization for the arts.
